If you have the BitLocker recovery key or password, we can recover data from an encrypted drive that has failed physically or logically β by repairing/imaging the drive, then unlocking it with your key. If the drive is fine but you've lost the key with no backup, the data is generally not recoverable β that's exactly what the encryption is designed to guarantee. We won't pretend otherwise, and we never bypass encryption on drives that aren't yours.
The honest truth about encrypted recovery
Strong encryption like BitLocker, FileVault and VeraCrypt is designed so that no one β not us, not anyone β can read the data without the key. Any company claiming to "crack" or "bypass" modern encryption without your credentials is being dishonest. What a real lab does is different and legitimate: fix the drive so that your own key can unlock it.
Do you have the BitLocker recovery key, password, or a startup PIN/USB? If yes β we can very likely help. If no β check the places on the right before assuming it's lost.
What we can & can't do
β We can recover whenβ¦
- The drive physically failed (clicking, not detected) but you have the key β we repair & image it, then unlock with your key.
- The volume is corrupt or won't mount but you have the key/password.
- BitLocker went into recovery mode and you have the 48-digit recovery key.
- You need help locating your key in your Microsoft/Azure AD account.
- An encrypted external/USB drive failed and you know the password.
π We can't (and won't)β¦
- Crack or bypass BitLocker/FileVault/VeraCrypt without the key β it's not possible for strong encryption.
- Recover a healthy encrypted drive when the key/password is truly lost with no backup or escrow.
- Unlock drives that are not verifiably yours β we require proof of ownership.
We confirm which situation you're in at the free diagnosis β no false hope, no wasted fees.
Where to find your BitLocker recovery key
account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey β keys are often saved there automatically..txt file or printout you saved when BitLocker was switched on..BEK key file on a USB stick. With the key in hand, an encrypted-drive recovery is much like a standard recovery β we handle the hardware side and unlock with your key.
How encrypted-drive recovery works
Free diagnosis & ownership check
We assess the drive's fault and confirm you own it and hold the key/password.
Stabilise & image the drive
We repair the physical/logical fault in our ISO cleanroom and take a forensic image of the encrypted volume.
Unlock with your key
Using your recovery key or password, we mount and decrypt the image β your credentials stay yours.
Extract & verify
We recover the files and give you a verified list.
Encryption types we handle (with your key)
- BitLocker (Windows) β including recovery-mode lockouts on failed drives
- FileVault 2 (macOS) β with your password / recovery key
- VeraCrypt / TrueCrypt containers & volumes β with your password/keyfile
- Hardware-encrypted SSDs & external drives β with your credentials
- Encrypted NAS volumes β with the passphrase
Whatever the encryption, the rule is the same: your key unlocks it, our lab fixes the drive.
